Messaging guidelines

Rules and best practices for communicating on ServedByAI.

Our messaging system is designed to facilitate clear, professional communication between buyers and providers while keeping transactions secure on the platform.

Contact information policy

To protect both parties and ensure payment security, our messaging system monitors for contact information that could be used to take transactions off-platform. The following types of information trigger a warning:

  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • WhatsApp, Telegram, and other messaging app handles
  • Social media handles (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, Skype)
  • External URLs and website links

When contact information is detected, you will see a warning explaining the policy. You can still choose to send the message by clicking "Send anyway", but the message will be flagged in our system for review.

Why this policy exists

This policy exists to:

  • Protect buyers from providers who take payment outside the platform without delivering work
  • Protect providers from chargebacks and non-payment
  • Ensure there is a documented communication trail in case of disputes
  • Maintain the trust and safety standards of the marketplace

Repeatedly sharing contact information to circumvent the platform may result in account suspension. If you need to share technical details like API endpoints or documentation links, contact support for assistance.
